30-Day song Challenge…
Day 13: A song that is a guilty pleasure!
Ohhh!!!! Easy! So very very easy, this one. I’m not going to kid you; I am a HUGE fucking dork. ‘Goddess of Dorks’, as it were when I’m not wearing one of my other crowns as ‘Queen of the Gays’, or ‘Saint of the Crazies’, and ‘Rebel Leader of Snark’ (at work if not in general life…)
ANYWAY! I have three songs that have will forever live on my ipod and phone AND nook to entertain my inner nine year old with ADHD. I’m going to go from oldest to newest, because I can’t pick a favorite… It’s like a mother trying to pick which child is the one she loves the most. Everyone knows the answer is always me even if I’m not necessarily her kid. Hah hah, just kidding. Or am I? ಠ_ಠ oooohhh see now your THINKING.
ANYWAYS... Part Deux.
Number 3: He Man (Four Non Blondes) -
Ok, be honest… You love it, it is wrong, it is CLASSIC. So well done give what they had to work with, just freakin’ brilliant! I saw this ages ago when if first crawled onto the internet, one of my first favorite viral videos. J. Wilson Allen, I take my hat off to you, and my shirt, just because I can.
Number 2: Corey Vidal & Moosebutter-
‘Star Wars (John Williams is THE Man)’ a cappella tribute medley.
I’m not going to kid you, when I first saw this for about five seconds I thought Corey Vidal WAS the person singing this song, but I have to give him credit. If it were not for him, I NEVER would have heard of this song, so props to him.
Now onto the song itself… BRILLIANT, I know I use that word a lot and I will in all likely hood use it at LEAST three to six more time before the end of this post, Get The Fuck over it. Moosebutter is magical, fantastic harmonies, took my most beloved movies, their music and they gave birth to THIS. It will probably most likely never get old.
Number 1!!!: Nicepeter-
‘Dr Seuss VS Shakespeare. Epic Rap Battles of History #12’. The newest addition to my carnival of crazy in my head.
I’ve watched all the Epic Rap Battles videos and the only one that comes close (And I do mean VERY fucking close) is ‘Einstein VS Stephen Hawking- Epic Rap Battles of History #7’. What it REALLY came down to is that I’m more of a literary nerd than a science nerd and that difference is about at thin a sheet of gold one atom thick… Still visible but with hardly any substance.
Sorry, got distracted. Watch the videos, make your own decisions. Let me know what you think.
As always, if it’s a ‘Song Title’ CLICK IT!!!
